Complex of symptoms, usually associated
with chest pains, as a result of lack of oxygen
in heart muscle. A consequence of narrowed coronary arteries due to arteriosclerosis.
Anticoagulation
Describes the administration of a drug to inhibit blood coagulation.
Arteriosclerosis
A systemic disease of the arteries that leads to deposits of blood fats, clots, connective tissue
and calcium carbonate in the vessel walls (arteriosclerosis).
